PRAISE THE LORD
Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. - Psalms 150:6
Praise the Lord! Hallelujah! If you are reading this, you are blessed with the gift of life today. In our scripture reading, the psalmist encourages us to praise God as long as we live: “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150:6). Only the living can offer praise to God—the dead cannot.God, the Giver of life, is the reason we are alive today. As Genesis 2:7 reminds us, “The LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.” As long as we have breath, we are called to honor and glorify Him.
Even if life feels incomplete—whether you lack a spouse, children, good health, a stable job, or experience challenges such as setbacks, nightmares, or disappointments—praise God. So long as there is life, there is hope.
Miracles happen when we praise God! Are you facing illness? Praise Him. Feeling disappointed? Praise Him still. Praise God because He is sovereign over times and seasons (Daniel 2:21) and has the power to redeem lost opportunities and wasted time (Ephesians 5:16).
The only thing that can hinder your miracle is death. As long as you are alive, hope remains. So, praise God for the blessings yet to come. No matter the circumstance, let your heart rejoice in His goodness. Praise the Lord!
