Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD: and I fell upon my face. - Ezekiel 44:4
During a visit to India, a tourist was pictured touching the pinnacle of the famous Indian Mughal architecture with the tip of his finger even by stooping at a long distance from the building. This was as if the monumental was small, insignificant and under his hand.
It has been said there are different angles to a story. It depends on the perspective an individual who tells it holds.
Ezekiel could not see the glory that filled the house of the Lord until he was taken to the north gateway. There are so many beauties and glories your life holds that you or others may not see until they stand at the right location. In Genesis 28:16, Jacob awoke out of his sleep, and he said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I knew it not."
Your life is viewed by others based on the side of your life they stand. Those who stand behind you may only see your back, and not your beauty or cry. Those who stand in front of you may only see your beauty but not see the hump or stab on your back. You are treated by people (including yourself) based on what they see and how you project yourself. Some of the actions and inactions many hold are products of wrong standing angles. You may have been guilty of the same about others too.
Therefore, do not blame people if they judge you wrongly. Hold it not against them. They might not be standing at the north gate of your life to see how your life has been filled with the glory of the Lord.
Beloved, do you see glory, perfection, holiness, and prosperity in your life, family and the house of God? Or what you see is shame, imperfections, immoralities and poverty? Allow God to take you to the way of the north gate today to see how beautiful and wonderful your life is. Remember that God has created you for His glory and your body is the temple (the house) of the Lord. Come to Jesus today and let Him fill your life with His grace and glory.
Today’s Recite: "Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee." - Isaiah 60:1
Today’s Morning Prayers: O Lord, I thank You for a new day of grace and glory. Pardon me for my past judgment about myself and others. Lord, take me to the way of the north gate to see the right glory in Jesus' name. Amen!
