TURNED LIKE RIVERS OF WATER

The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD. Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. - Proverbs 21:1

A teenager's long desire to become a medical doctor was almost truncated when he could not meet the admission criteria to study medicine at the university. He however settled for a different offer with the hope to cross over to medicine in the second year. This hope was again dashed when the news of the official abolishment of the crossing-over option to medicine was announced by the university. Together with the Christian fellowship he attended, he began to pray for divine intervention. In answer to his prayer, not only did the university reverse the decision but he became one of the last 10 students to ever have such privilege.

Prayer can create, recreate, and change the course of events in our lives. Prayer can turn failure into success, turn defeat into victory, and convert death to life. Prayer can take away sleep from kings until you are favoured. Prayer is the tool to make God turn the heart of the king like the rivers of water.

“Who is like unto the LORD our God... Who humbleth himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!” (Psalm 113:5, 6). He doeth according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth. Dan. 4:35). The eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong on the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. (2 Chronicles 16:9).

Beloved, do you know the King of kings can turn Himself to favour you? As Boaz's mind was changed to perform the matter concerning Ruth and took away sleep from King Abimelech for having Abraham's wife, your benefactor's and suitor's heart shall be turned like rivers of water until you are favoured. But this comes not except by prayer of faith. Esther and her people fasted and prayed. And God turned the heart of the king to favour the nation Israel. .  May the king's and president's hearts be turned to favour you today in Jesus' name. Amen!

Today’s Recite: "Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish? - Jonah 3:9

Today’s Morning Prayers:  My King of kings who never sleeps nor slumbers I thank You. I pray O Lord God that all my petitions before all authorities be attended to in earnest in my favour. May the hearts of kings, governors, presidents, judges, directors and whosoever is concerned in my matter be turned until I am favoured today in Jesus' name. Amen!
