HOLD YOUR PEACE

"The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” - Exodus 14:14 (NKJV)

Mark had been going through a lot recently. Goods under his supervision had been stolen from his workplace and he was on the verge of losing his job. Her sick mom was battling cancer. He would feel like screaming out his frustration, "Why are these happening to me?" But then, from nowhere, a voice repeatedly whispered to him, "Hold your peace". He went to the internet and searched those words and he discovered it was from Exodus 14:14. From that moment he began to have peace. He surrendered all to Jesus. Within days all battles were won and gone. This was how Mark found Christ.

Satan along with life challenges may pose threats to your comfort and aspirations in life. These could sometimes look bigger than they really are. So scary and out of fear, you may even begin to doubt the worthiness of serving God. Your God still remains bigger than every threat, He'll always hold you close to Himself as He helps you to overcome such challenges.

What are those things that harass you today? Are they debts, sickness, failures, or nightmares? They are compared to Egyptian soldiers, certainly, you will never see them again but drown in the Red Sea in Jesus name. God is bigger than all. He was bigger than the men of those days, so much so that he confused their language (Genesis 11).  He was bigger than the people of Sodom and Gomorrah and turned their lands to ashes (Genesis 19).  Even, so, He is bigger than the enemy, Satan and every mountain before you. You can trust him; He is much bigger than your debts, barrenness, lack, sicknesses and sorrow to mention a few.

God can show His greatness in your life if you see Him as God who is no equal ‘’among the gods’’’. He is the Mighty God. He is Jehovah Nissi. He says, The battle belongs to the Lord. You will have no part in the matter but hold your peace till God finishes dealing with all the situations troubling you. While God does what He's got to do, keep yourself from all that God hates. You will see that He will keep fighting your battles for you in Jesus' name. Amen!

Today’s Recite: “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me...’’  - Psalms 138:8

Today’s Morning Prayers:  I thank You Lord because You are bigger than everything. I receive grace to be still and hold my peace. I shall not be troubled. I silence everything and everyone exalting themselves against God in my life in Jesus' name. I leave all battles to you Lord in Jesus Jesus name.
