THE END OF ALL THINGS

"The end of all things is at hand. - 1 Peter 4:7

Elder Samuel was known in the village for his wisdom and deep spiritual insights. People often sought him out for advice and guidance in their times of need. One sunny afternoon, as Samuel sat beneath his favourite oak tree, a young boy approached him hesitantly. "I've been hearing whispers, sir," the boy began, his voice trembling. "Whispers of an impending doom, of the end of all things."
Samuel replied, "Ah, my young friend, it is in times of great darkness that the light within us shines the brightest. The end of all things may indeed be at hand, but it is our response that matters."

Samuel then proceeded to share with the boy the teachings of 1 Peter 4:7, emphasizing the importance of prayer, love, and the cultivation of a steadfast spirit. He spoke of the power of unity, of coming together as a community to support and uplift one another during trying times.
As the sun slowly began to set, casting a warm glow over the village, the boy's fearful expression transformed into one of hope and determination. "Thank you, sir," the boy said, "I will remember your words." Samuel nodded,  "Never forget, my boy, that the end is not solely about destruction. It is also a new beginning."

Beloved, Christ said, Ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled (Matthew 24:6). Remember that though the earth be consumed, “we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.” (2 Corinthians 5:1). But it will be an everlasting anguish for anyone that the end of time meet unprepared. For in the face of the end of all things in this sinful world, it is the power of faith and love that will carry you through. And as long as those virtues remained steadfast, we would not only survive but thrive in the face of adversity.
