DIVINE CONTROL OF KNOWLEDGE

"Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever. But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” - Daniel 12:3-4 (NKJV)

The Internet as we know it today was not known 100 years ago because the technology used to connect computers was not developed until the 1960s. In the early 20th century, computers were still in their infancy, and most people had no knowledge of the potential capabilities of the technology. It wasn't until the latter part of the century that computers and the Internet began to become more widely available and accessible to the public.

Much knowledge is currently shut up and sealed because humanity is not yet ripe for it. Today parents are worried about the effects of knowledge from the internet could have on young people. Gradually, God continues to release knowledge and wisdom to man as we age, get closer to the end of time and are ushered into the world of supernatural intelligence. We are closer to eternity than ever. Now is our salvation nearer than when we began. Paul said, "For now, we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part shall be done away... now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” (1 Corinthians 13:9-12)

Beloved, have you wondered what is God's take on this? He wants us to use the increasing knowledge, and the advancing technology to win souls. Those who use innovation to win souls are wise. Rather than following the multitude to do evil, apply the advancing technology to expand the gospel. And those that forget God (as the source of this knowledge) will be turned into hell (Psalm 9:17). Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” (Proverbs 3:7). It is time to shine as the brightness of the firmament and as a star. Herein lies our wisdom.

Today’s Recite: The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. - Proverbs 11:30 (KJV)

Today’s Morning Prayer: O God I thank You for the knowledge and understanding You have released to humanity in order to improve our livelihood. I ask for wisdom to innovate for the furtherance of the Gospel. I ask that You increase the knowledge of You more in my life. Make me know You more. No matter my achievement or attainment in this life, may I never forget You as the Source and Controller of all knowledge in Jesus' name. Amen!

Today’s Hymn:  DEEPER, DEEPER IN THE LOVE OF JESUS  (CHS 76)
