NO LABOUR LOSS

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. - 1 Corinthians 15:58.

Labour loss is described as a situation in which there is little or nothing to gain from work done or service offered. Labour losses could be experienced as an individual or as a business. It could be spiritual or physical (socioeconomic). No one loves to experience losses. Everyone labours to earn a living wage and make profits.

So with God, there is no one who has laboured for Him that will not be handsomely and beautifully rewarded. This is an unbreakable promise of God. However, certain factors outside God could make individuals or companies experience labour losses. These factors include ignorance, incompetence, laziness, and enemies (antagonists). Isaac laboured to dig wells but the Philistines closed then. Beware of enemies who are bent on frustrating your efforts. Due to incompetence and incompleteness in jobs, a labourer may not be paid his wages or fees. Be competent.

As a company to mitigate labour losses, establish a clear set of expectations and standards for your employees Such expectations must be communicated effectively and enforced consistently. Implement a structured and effective recruitment process to ensure the right fit for the job. Implement a performance management system to track and review employee progress and address any issues in a timely and effective manner. Utilize technology and automated processes to reduce manual labour and make tasks easier and more efficient.

Beloved, as believers, never think working for God has no rewards. It does: not only in this world but in eternity. You may have lost friends and family for righteousness sake. You may be persecuted and deserted for embracing your new faith. Apart from regaining all that you may have lost for the gospel sake, everlasting life awaits all faithful believers. But you must be constant in faith, patient and uncompromising even in the face of persecution. Hence Jesus said, “Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32). Therefore, beloved, rejoice in the Lord. You will be rewarded for your faithfulness. And if you have not known Christ yet, you can repent today and accept Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour.

Today’s Morning Prayers:  My heavenly Father, I thank You for counting me worthy to be part of Your kingdom. I renounce Satan, any form of laziness, this sinful world and its pleasures to embrace Your righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. According to your promises, restore all in hundred folds all that I might have lost for the gospel's sake, financially, relationship-wise and in property. No more labour losses in my life, family and business in Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen!
