DYNAMIC SUFFICIENT STRENGTH

As thy days, so shall your strength be.  - Deuteronomy 33:25

Certain vehicles with autmatic engines are equiped with cruise control functions. This allows the vehicle to move by itself at a set speed. Irrespective of the terrain, uphill or downhill, the vehicle maintains the set speed. When it gets to the uphill, the engine changes gear by itself to give more torque (strength) without any intervention of the driver. and down hill the engine saves energy by adapting to less energy demanding mode.

As we cruise this life, God has promised all His children dynamic and adaptive strength for all events of life. It is a promise that God would graciously and constantly support your hustles, struggles and pursuits or whatever they are. "The God of Israel is He that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God" (Psalm 68:35). Have you been allocated a task or job? You shall have strength to do it. Have your responsibilities increased recently? You shall have strength to bear them. Are you being tempted in whatever form? Then it is not beyond or above His ability in you to bear, and He will never allow you to be tempted above what you are able to bear.

Are you feeling weak? It means God wants you like that at such a moment and when the day begins to challenge you with daunting demands, God "gives power to the faint: and to them that have no might he increaseth strength" (Isaiah 40:29). Therefore, He said, “take no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof (Matthew 6:34).

Beloved, on this divine dynamic strength, there is nothing impossible for you to do. So you can boldly say like Paul, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” ( Philipians 4:13). But “If thou faint in the day of adversity," then it means your strength is small and on manual human labour. This is arm of flesh that cannot help you. Therefore, you need to switch to God’s automatic cruise control in penitence and total submission in faith. And the Lord will come to your rescue in Jesus name. Amen!

Today’s Recite: "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (1 Corinthians 12:9)

Today’s Morning Prayers:  Heavenly Father I thank You for the giving the greatest power on earth. I confess that I might have abused this power severally. Forgive me Lord. I come to You today to choose Jesus and life eternal, to choose blessing and progress. Lord bless my decisions in Jesus mighty name! Amen!
