MY TIMES ARE IN YOUR HANDS
My times are in Your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. Psalms 31:15 (NKJV)
Human beings are prone to easily forget the past, forget their origin and creation, or even forget God. When men are up to commit sin they forget God, but when evil is lynched on them, they quickly remember God. But God is always there at both times. You should be mindful that as you grow and age, God keeps track of your life. Not only is He aware of your next move, He also knows the moves of others that will either influence you positively or negatively. He knows the next favour coming your way. Your times are in His hands just as He’s got the whole wide world in His hands.
God watches you. He watches everyone. “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. (Matthew 10:29-30). “Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink …but Casting all your care upon him; for He careth for you” (Matt. 6:25, 32; I Peter 5:7).
David understood this quite well. And little wonder why the largest compilation of prayers of deliverance has been traced to the book of Psalms. Like David, your times too are in God’s hands. He is able to deliver you and much more prevent you from all evils.
Dear friend, the question now is, will God save you out of trouble when you are also full of sin and evil yourself? It remains at God’s discretion to deliver a sinner or not. But Satan shows no mercy at all. However, under God’s oath and covenant, the righteous is preserved. Repent of all sins today. Remember God is there watching you. And “But not a hair of your head shall be lost”. (Luke 21:18) because Gods loves His people, and all His saints are in His hands (Deuteronomy 33:3). We are admonished to be reminded at all times, that your times and seasons are before the Lord. It will be wise to acknowledge Him at all times for your protection and prosperity in all your vocations.
Today’s Recite: “The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul…preserve your going out and your coming in. From this time forth, and even forevermore (Psalms 121:7-8).
Today’s Morning Prayer: I Thank You Lord for a new day before You. I acknowledge Your constant notice of me. Grant me grace to remain conscious of Your presence in my life. Take my life and let be Yours for ever. Grant me more grace and faith in You today for protection and prosperity in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
