YOUR MANY SINS ARE GONE!

Bible Passage: Luke 7:40-50

Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little.  Luke 7:47

Jesus Christ told a story of a creditor and his two debtors. One owed him 500 pence and the other 50. They could not repay, and then he decided to completely write off both debts. Jesus then asked Peter, “Which of them will love him most?” Yes, the one he forgave most!

Our God has no upper limit as to what measure or magnitude of sin He can forgive or debts He can write off. As a matter of truth, by default, Christ has paid for all sins including your many sins. “…Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound” (Romans 5:20). “Who is a God like unto thee, that pardons iniquity, and passes by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? He retains not his anger for ever, because he delights in mercy. He will turn again; He will have compassion Upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and Thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. (Micah 7:18,19).

When God forgives, He also forgets. Dear friend, it does not matter whatsoever you have done in the past. What matters now is whether you are ready to repent, love and be loved again. For Jesus loves you. You might have thought God has forsaken you but “with great mercies will He gather thee and with everlasting kindness will He have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer” (Isaiah 54:7,8). Prophet Isaiah further said, “for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. (Isaiah 38:17). That is God for you!

Beloved, God is not a man. Hear again what He says to prophet Jeremiah, “I will forgive your iniquity, and I will remember your sin no more. (Jeremiah 31:34). Apostle John said, “if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” (1 John 1:9,7).

Today’s Recite: Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. (Psalm 32:1).

Today’s Morning Prayer: O Lord Jesus I thank You for dying for my sins so I could be saved. I confess all my sins and ask You to throw them into the sea of forgetfulness. I receive a new life in You today. Grant me and all who say this prayer today, Your grace to be faithful to You henceforth. For in Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!
