GREATER GLORY

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, and in this place will I give peace. Haggai 2:9

The British sytem of primary and secondary education is so unique in that every child moves to a higher class irrespective of their academic performance. Students are assured of promotion to a higher class as they age.  What the brings to the student mind is peace that he’s not left behind.

Similarly, God has destined His children for a better, higher and greater outlook everyday. That your today shall be higher than your yesterday and your tomorrow better than today. Like every student, the mark of getting higher and greater in academic life is the peace and gladness. This is exactly what divine glory brings to you. Peace is the mark of greater glory. As a pilgrim to the the heavenly, what matters most is the inner peace and assurance that you are not going backwards but onward in this life. Your body, the recipient of God’s glory, must be built in holiness for the LORD and “must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries” (1 Chronicles 22:5).

Beyond you, your present zone, God has destined all His children for global recongnition. You are a house built on the hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14).  and there shall be “glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill” toward you and all around you (Luke 2:14).

Beloved, but this comes with a price. Good news is that the price has already been paid by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, the “Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6). All that is needed from you is to have Jesus in you, the hope of glory. Without Christ in you there is no hope greater glory. Repent and be coverted today and the greater glory will always be yours to have.

Today’s Recite: "The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Today’s Morning Prayer: Lord I thank You for a new day of glory in Your presence. I pray for Your glory upon my life. O God, I hereby present my body to You to build it in the most magnificient edifice as it pleases You in Jesus name. Mark me for global and greater glory in Jesus name I pray. Amen!
