A SECRET TO GOOD SUCCESS

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. -Joshua 1:8 (NKJV)8

It has been said that success does not come from what you do occassionally but what you do consistently. And knowledge comes by reading and constant reflection on your experience. This is where meditation comes in. Meditation is an act of thinking deeply on words, something, or issue. It is to reflect critically on a matter of interest to you, with God. Meditation is solely done in your heart. It is a thinking process. Constant meditation is a secret to a good success even as it helps to reduce stress and enhance controlled emotions.

Meditation will help you to draw reasonable conclusion; find a solution or better way of doing things. Meditation or pondering on a new knowledge is a recipe to innovation. For instance, Google, Goldman Sachs, and many giant companies were born through meditations and had continued to introduce meditations to ease stress and promote creativity at workplace.

The process of meditation involves finding a quiet place first to avoid distractions. Some people have the luxury of a study room in their house or bedroom. Anytime of the day that is convenient for you can be adopted. It might be in the night, at the morn, noon or eventime. David had his in the bedroom early morning and late at night (Psalm 63:5, 6). For Isaac, it was eventime (Genesis 24:63). What is more important is the consistency. Meditation is not a one-off thing but a practice that improves you with experience. The second step is to identify what to mediate on it. It could be a focal verse from the bible or topical passage. Look for lessons learnt. Consider what can be done better and draw a simple conclusion. Conclusion drawn helps you do things better in addition to knowing better.

Beloved, to have good success in life,  start the habit of meditation. It will make you a wiser thinker; know God and relate with him better. You receive inspiration for innovation in your career and business. Start the act of meditating today and you shall see a better you.
