Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” Isaiah 43:7.
The most frequently asked questions in life are "What is the purpose of my existence?" "Who am I? and "Where am I going after death?" The answer to the first question will expose the meaning to the rest. Purpose discovery is vital to ultimate life fulfilment. Why are you living? According to today’s key verse, there is a simple answer to the ultimate purpose of your existence and that is, for God's glory.
Glory is the pride, high honour, excellence, bright radiance and magnificience of someone. The ultimate purpose of life is to exhibit God's magnificence: to make God proud.
You are not created to merely exist, added to the world population figure. You are specially created to exhibit God's glory and this will require performing outstandingly in the world. It requires living an impactful life. Living to show forth the glory of God.
Whatever man does in life that does not make God proud and influence the world positively is a mere side attraction. You may be the fastest man or the richest man on earth, without making God proud, positively influencing others to a better living and returning back to God happy and fulfilling, it is a waste of life.
God has designated a time and season for everyone to outshine and continue to shine until the final call to a greater glory. For we all will be "changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord’’ (2 Corinthians 3:18). We all may move from earthly glory (Matthew 4:8) to the human glory (Isaiah 43:7) to the spiritual glory (1 Thessalonians 2:12) to the resurrection glory (1 Corinthians 15:40-44) to the glory above (Psalm 113:4) and finally to the everlasting glory (1 Peter 5:10).
Have you wondered why people lack or lose the glory? It’s because they "have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). To obtain or reclaim this glory, you must be born again. Have faith in God and work patiently for time and season of your manifestation. Move on the ladder of glory. Match on the path of glory. Strive to always shine and excel in whatever you do because your ultimate purpose may be on it.
