…Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master’s brethren. Genesis 24:26
Today’s key verse was the exact words of Eliezer of Damascus. He was the Chief of Staff of the patriarch Abraham dynasty who prayed for God’s guidance in the choice of a bride for Isaac. It was a very challenging task at that time. He must not make any mistake. So must you today!
Our daily life is full of many decisions that we must make. They are either short-term or long-term. These decisions or choices may either make us, mar us or leave us not any better. But there is a God who knows the best choice, the best way and best end result. For God knows the thoughts He has towards you…to give you expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11)
Marital choice, business decisions, relocation, job or career choices are few areas that we may throw us into oblivion or dilemma. There is always a better and best way! God knows and can chooses the best. God’s leading way may be long. Like the Israelite, God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt: But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt. Exodus 13:17-18.
Shorter route may be full of wars and terrors which may end up making the journey unbearable or fatal. Do you think you are on the wrong way already? it is never too late to ask God to reroute you to the best way. Choose God’s way today and let Him lead you in your marital, career, business or ministerial choice.
