Once upon a time, in the land of Canaan, there was a teenage motherless boy. His name was Joseph. He was the second to the lastborn in the family. He was loved by his father but envied by his brothers for this, and for being outspoken. Joseph was sold by his siblings to the Ishmaelites, then to the Egyptian as a slave. He went from one unpalatable situation to the other. Despite his circumstances, his master could attest to the presence of God in the life of Joseph. One major evidence of this is prosperity …that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand (Genesis 39:3). This earned him favour and promotion to the position of overseer as the captain of the guard’s house. Joseph’s boss and his house benefited from the blessing (Read Genesis 39).
Whatever the circumstance you find yourself, God said, He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
Friend, no matter what difficulty or challenges you are facing today, all you need is God’s presence. I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him (Psalm 91:15).
Persecution or criticisms should never stop you from succeeding in life as long as God’s presence is with you.
In slavery, Joseph prospered. In the prison, Joseph prospered. In the palace. Joseph, of course, still prospered.
There is no excuse for failure. Witches and witchcrafts cannot stop your success and prosperity. They will have to pass through God first! Dear friend, why not ask for God’s presence today. Invite Him to your life. Obey Him always because sin and disobedience repel God from us. Be like Joseph who when tempted with sin, refused and said, “How then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?” Be always conscious of God’s presence in your life and He shall prosper you. Amen!
Today’s Recite: Now, my son (my daughter), may the LORD be with you; and may you prosper, and build the house of the LORD your God, as He has said to you. (1 Chronicles 22:11)
