Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? -II Chronicles 6:18).
While walking home on a sunny Sunday after service with his dad, a little boy asked, “Dad, where is God? I would like to meet Him.” His father paused to think of the right answer to give his boy. Then he got it. He answered, “I will tell you where God is if you can see your breath.” The child quickly lifted up his palm to feel his own breath. “Dad, I can’t see my breath, but I can feel it.” His father then answered him, “that is God for you. He owns your breath. Every time you breathe, it is God”.
Have you ever wondered like the little boy, “where is God?” or asked in amazement like the wisest man that ever lived, “Will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth?” Many a times we live as if there is no God or that He seems far away. Yet we enjoy Him every second because He owns our breaths. “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being” (Genesis 2:7).
From conception till death, the breath of life from God is in you. What do you think will happen if He withdraws that breath from you? You have a choice to be always conscious that God is inside you to monitor your words, deeds and movement. While you are asleep, He keeps you alive. He is omnipresent. Hence, God deserves your loyalty, your obedience, respect and your all, because He owns your breath.
Moreover, you can make Him a full habitation by inviting Him to dwell in you to direct and empower today. Let them make Me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them (Exodus 25:8). Surrender to God’s will today to become the temple of the living God. …As God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people (II Corinthians 6:16).
