ARE YOU NOT PERVERSE?
O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord? - Acts 13:10
It happened at a time in heaven that God was moved with compassion and looked upon mankind to rescue it from eternal damnation and destruction: to save you and me. But He needed someone to carry out the sacrificial command to redeem man from sin whose wages is death. Heaven was silent as no one was ready for the mission. But Someone broke the silence. The Lamb appeared, Here I am, Send Me. And that Lamb is Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world whose mission was finished on the cross. This is the origin of the word “love”. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins… for God is love. (1 John 4:10, 8). God is synonymous to love.
The cause of love is to spread the message of genuine repentance from sin through the atoning blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. Anyone who claims to manipulate love outside this redemption course is therefore perverse, a child of the devil and enemy of all righteousness (Acts 3:10). They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are a perverse and crooked generation (Deuteronomy 32:5).
Beloved, perversion is defined as distortion or corruption of the original course, meaning, or state of something. Using “I love you” to lure the gullible to satisfy your lust - Are you not perverse? Promoting valentine day to propagate immorality instead of propagating the gospel of repentance - Are you not a perverse? Turning the altar of God into business – Are you not perverse? Repent and be converted today to stop perverting the right ways of the Lord, and start preaching true Love.
Today’s Recite: And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. Isaiah 6:8.
Today’s Morning Prayer: O LORD God, I thank You for revealing the origin of Love to me today. Forgive me if I have ever perverted the right way of the Lord. Grant me grace to show Your love by preaching redemption to all mankind from today. May the eyes world of the world and Christians be opened to the cause of God in Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
