DECEMBER 19: TAKE IT BY FORCE

TAKE IT BY FORCE

‘’And from the day of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force" Matthew 11:12

History confirms that old kingdoms were fought and taken by the edges of the sword. Everyone who fought for a position in those kingdoms appeared to be outsiders because they appeared to have no right or claim to it. The kingdom of God shares similarities and has to be taken by force even as sin and satan take our right to it. However, the kingdom of God cannot be taken by mere sword and does not need any blood to be shed other than that which Christ shed for us and all.

But the kingdom still suffers violence and resistance from the world and kingdom of darkness. Laws and government policies may threaten your easy take of the kingdom. This demonstrates the resolute, fervency and zeal that is expected of everyone to take hold of his position in the kingdom. Self must be denied, and egos and pride must be bent. Those who will have interest in the great salvation will have it upon terms and conditions set by God, but not think them hard, nor quit their hold of the kingdom without making heaven. Persecutions, trials and temptations may stand in your way but they must be overcome.

Dear friend, life is full of many battles that must be fought and won. To be victorious in life endeavours, live above sin, and be fulfilled, you must be violent against sin, self and poverty. Fight for your freedom from the bondage of sin. Refuse to quit or stop the pilgrim journey halfway. Declare war against poverty that is pushing you away from the faith. In prayer, take prosperity by force. By studying hard, take success by force. And to finally make it to heaven, you must be violent against worldliness. With Christ, you are more than a conqueror.

Today’s Recite:  "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors... For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, ...shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:37-39

Today’s Morning Prayers:  Lord I thank You because I can do all things through Christ. Today, I take my stand in the Mighty NAME OF JESUS. I take authority and destroy the works of the wicked one in my life in JESUS Mighty Name. I take all my blessings by force. I possess my possession by force in Jesus name. Amen!
