GREATER GRACE

"But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound." - Romans 5:20

One may ask if there exists any sin God cannot forgive. The simple answer is none, except the almost impossible sin against the Holy Spirit. Despite a woman’s terrible past, “her sins which are many were forgiven” (Luke 7:36-48). The demon-possessed man from Gaderenes had been under the bondage of the legion for a long time, tormenting the neighbourhood. He was delivered, saved became a great evangelist. The Saul of Tarsus, the most injurious persecutor in his time, was pardoned and saved by the same Lord he persecuted. There are mountainous problems that can be so intimidating and overwhelming. They could be in the area of finances, family, career or ministry.

There is no sin nor atrocities you have ever committed God cannot forgive. Neither is there any mountain too high nor valley too low for our God to move. He is mighty to save. Are you being tormented by the weight of your sins, drug addictions, immorality, abortions, fetishism, idolatry, or any sort of abominations? God says, “I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins (Amos 5:12). “Where sin abounded, grace abounded much more (Romans 5:20)”. Jesus Christ comes with greater grace stronger than all sins and abominations, mountains and oppressors. He is able “to save them to the uttermost that comes unto God by Him. (Hebrew 7:25).

Dear friend, all it requires from you today, is a call on Jesus Christ. He says, “I, the LORD, am your Savior, and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”(Isaiah 49:26). Confess all your sins, and ask for the grace to be free from them all.

Today’s Morning Prayers: O Lord I thank You for Your redemptive power. I know there is no sin or mountain greater than You. I call upon You to come to my rescue. Redeem me today. Save my household too. Revive my life and all around me. I surrender everything unto You. I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. Amen!

Today’s Recite: Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. (Hebrews 7:25).
