April 05, 2022: The Parable of the Sower (Part1) study 11.

Parables are short narratives that are intended to teach valuable lessons for practical applications and profit. It is wisdom to embrace such teachings especially when it comes from infallible authority like Christ. Parable is not for the fools!(Proverb 26:7). To benefit from parables, there must be: I. Humility, ii. Attention to learning and iii. Readiness to understand and obey instructions given. Otherwise, it will be like those in Jesus time, who were at loss: "because they seeing, see not; and hearing, they hear not, neither do they understand." Matthew 13:13. When the heart is anchored on, and guided with the truth and grace, error with accompanied mistakes and consequential ruins are overcome.

The mind of a man is a beautiful and amazing wonders of God’s creation. When rightly cultured, renewed and groomed after the knowledge of Christ, the results will be so beneficial to the individual, mankind and God's purpose on earth. Above all the treasures in Man's possession, the mind must be valued and diligently kept (built) as the scripture enjoins in Proverb4:23, "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life." When the heart is right with God and the mind in line with His purpose and counsels, fruitfulness in all realms are assured through the earnest working of His Spirit and power in us. Philippians 2:13.

God equipped the saints differently for His own unique and peculiar purposes. The Apostles and Teachers will be variedly gifted, yet God demands profits from all. The parable of the talents attested to the fact that God is aware of respective capacity of each of His servants! He will not overload you with burdens that will crush you. Matthew 25:15-17.
